- William G. Pomeroy Foundation - An organization supporting the celebration and preservation of
community history. The Foundation launched the New York State Historic Roadside Marker Grant Program in 2006 to erect markers within Onondaga County. Since then, the
Foundation has funded over 1,800 markers and plaques in 46 states.
- Historical Markers and the Places they Represent in New York State -
A Facebook group with over 24,000 followers and growing. By far the largest collection of New York Historic Markers.
- Historical Marker Database - The Historical Marker Database (HMDB) is all about public history cast in metal, carved on stone, or

historic roadside markers installed during the original program around 1926-1939 in PDF format.
- Catskill Castings - Located in Bloomville, New York, Catskill Castings and
its predecessor, The Walton Foundry, have been manufacturing Historical Roadside Markers since the 1920's.
